LOGODI held the 5th Global Forum On October 23, under the theme of “The role and tasks of government officials' training institutes for the future government in the AI Era.
The Forum has been held every year since 2019 with heads of government officials' training institutions around the world to share current issues, status, and good cases in related fields, and to strengthen the network among institutes.
About 60 people, including heads of institutions from 11 countries, international training program alumni, Korean local government officials and etc participated in the forum on and offline.
Professor M. Jae Moon of Yonsei University shared insights on HRD trends and the role of institutions in the AI Era.
In the panel discussion, which was moderated by Dr. Kim Soon Hee from KDI School, overseas participants from Mongolia, India, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, and the Philippines discussed the topic of ‘Digital Competence of Government Officials and Challenges' while participants from Cambodia, Kyrgyzstan, Uganda, and Korea discussed ‘Cases of Achievements through international cooperation.’ raised questions and exchanged opinions.
Offline participants also had a study visit to the Jeollabuk-do Provincial Government, Korea Water Resources Corporation Human Resources Development Center, and Naver Co., Ltd. to learn about the current status of Korean local governments, and cases of HRD Institutes in the corporation level.
