LOGODI announced that Palestinian government officials visited LOGODI to gain insights into Korea’s expertise in public sector human resource development on July 23rd. This visit was part of the Korea International Cooperation Agency(KOICA) ODA program titled “Capacity Building on Public Sector HR Management and Training in Palestine(2023-2025).” Eighteen senior officials responsible for HR across various Palestinian government ministries and public institutions were invited to Korea.
During their visit, LOGODI presented Korea’s local government public official training system, educational programs, and pedagogical methods. The Palestinian officials displayed a keen interest in Korea’s trainee selection processes and post-training evaluation techniques. LOGODI initially began training Palestinian local government officials in 2012, marking Korea’s first such initiative.
Furthermore, LOGODI has contributed to the advancement of Palestinian public officials by sharing Korean training methodologies with faculty members of the Palestinian Public Officials Training Institute, which was established in 2020 through Korea’s Official Development Assistance(ODA) project.
Since 2000, over 6,800 foreign officials from 89 countries have completed Korean public officials training programs at LOGODI. Korea’s digital administrative capabilities are increasingly recognized internationally, leading to a growing demand for related training.
President Lim Sang-kyu remarked, “LOGODI is committed to actively promoting knowledge-sharing projects that highlight Korea’s economic development and government innovation to developing countries. Leveraging our extensive expertise in public official training, we strive to enhance Korea’s position as a global leader in the international community. We hope this visit will significantly contribute to strengthening the capabilities of the Palestinian public sector.”
