LOGODI announced that it held the 2024 LOGODI Global Forum under the theme of “A Changing Future: Directions and Strategies for Public Officials' Training Institutions” on October, 29th (Tuesday).
This year marks the 6th LOGODI Global Forum since 2019, inviting heads of institutes for public official training of partner countries to share issues and best practices and strengthen cooperation.
This forum not only invited heads of institutes for public official training of partner countries including Cambodia, Tanzania, and Sri Lanka but also heads of 15 public official training institutes at the cities and provinces level in Korea for in-depth discussions on future direction.
The forum consisted of special sessions on “Exploring Future Education & Training and Innovative Development Directions for 2025: wide perspective on HRD trends” and “Changing Role and Strategies of Public Officials' Training Institutes” along with presentations and discussions.
Heads of 11 institutes for public official training of partner countries including Cambodia had site visits including Jeonju Hanok Village, Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority, and Spatial Data Research Institute of LX by November, 1st (Friday).
They learned about city regeneration using regional resources, establishment of global city with free economic zone, and strategies to innovate national land data with AI and big data.
LOGODI President Lim Sang-Kyu said the LOGODI Global Forum is a chance to share Korea’s experiences on digitalizing and innovating government and discussing strategies and approaches to develop human resources with 11 heads of institutes for public official training.
Lim added that LOGODI will do its utmost to nurture public officials responding to drastically changing administrative environment.
