WANJU - Upon requests to share Korea’s best practices in administrative innovation, the Ministry of the Interior and Safety (MOIS) of the Republic of Korea formed and sent out a group of government officials from various government ministries and agencies to Serbia and Protugal from December 5 to 12.
The delegation was headed by Mr. Lim Jeong-taek, Director-General for International Administrative Cooperation of the Interior and Safety, and the participating organizations included LOGODI, e-Government Bureau, Government Innovation Bureau, National Police Agency, Statistics Korea, etc.
On December 7, the delegation held the “2018 Korea-Serbia Cooperation Forum on Public Administration ” at Crown Plaza Hotel in Beograde, Serbia. The forum was co-hosted and attended by the Minister of the Interior, Serbia, which is aimed at fostering cooperation in the field of public administration between Korea and the region, building on closer ties.
During the Forum, Ms Shin Soon-nyo, Director for International Training and Cooperation Division of LOGODI, served on the panel of speakers to introduce LOGODI and its programs. Director Shin also met Director, Mr. Drazen Maravic on her visit to the National Academy of Public Administration (NAPA) to discuss the possible ways of cooperation and partnership on capacity building of government officials in Serbia.
